About Our Agency and Our Team
Our Agency History:
Located in Middleboro, the residents of Southeastern Massachusetts have enjoyed over 130 years of professional and trustworthy customer service. Established in 1877, our agency has always been a family owned business. T.M. Ryder was founded by Thomas M. Ryder and succeeded by his nephew, Charles Ryder. Ralph W. Maddigan went to work for Charles in the early 1900’s and bought the agency from him in 1917. Ralph W. Maddigan Jr. joined the agency after serving in WWII. In 1972, Ralph W. Maddigan III joined the agency, and it was incorporated in 1973.

Ralph is the 5th owner of T.M. Ryder and the 3rd generation of ownership in the Maddigan family. He started with the agency back in 1972 and took over ownership in the mid-1980s. He has his full broker’s license.

Rosemary has been working for our agency for over 30 years now, making her the 2nd most tenured here. She has her full broker’s license and specializes here in commercial lines.

Linda Duquette - Personal Lines CSR

Linda has been working as a customer service representative for our agency since 1987. With over 23 years of experience Linda is well qualified in personal lines insurance services. Linda handles personal lines accounts within the agency, and is dedicated to providing customers wth exceptional service.

Kelly joined our team at T.M. Ryder back in 2000 and has been working at our agency for 11 years now. She specializes in personal lines service bringing over a decade of experience to her work. She is dedicated to providing excellent service to customers.

Kira Watkins - Sales Manager
Bio (2011-present)
Kira is the daughter of Ralph and the newest member of our team here. She has just recently joined our team here at T.M. Ryder in January of 2011. She is currently in charge of the sales and marketing for our agency and has recently received her producer’s license as well.
